About Capps Games -I have played roleplaying games since 1973. Yes I was one of the original nerds who loved D&D and Melee and other fantasy games. In early 1990, with the encouragement of a friend, I began to write not one but a myriad of games and follow-ups to my signature game SKILLMASTER. This game was different from other roleplaying games of the times as it did not use dice but two decks of regular playing cards. My friend and graphics man Thomas Pickowicz traveled the east coast and we met many fine people. SKILLMASTER was so popular it was awarded best new roleplaying game at the 1991 Jacksonville convention. I am happy to say that we have a customer in Australia, several from Canada, and many in the United States. In 1995, Capps Games ceased publishing. In 2017, I started on Pax: Land of Heroes and Legends. In 2022, I attended Gen Con and was happy to receive a good reception for Royal Blood Royal. So I am at it again with the blessings of my favorite fan, my wife of 53 years who i lost in June of 2023. She always encouraged me so i am happy to present this site in remembrance of her. I had many playtesters along the way, my family and friends helped out with everything too.
